Date is set for Self-Defence II
The course Self-Defence II will take place on the 10 and 11 of August this summer at HQ.
The course continues where the first course left off and covers a full semester for intermediate students (including syllabus). It deals with more advanced attacks, continues to further develop the stand-up and also introduces the ground.
Content: Intermediate self-defence techniques against hair grabs, chokes, body-locks and takedowns, as well as defence on the ground. Techniques for striking against vital areas to reinforce the self-defence moves (progressive depending on severity of the initial attack). Intermediate stand-up fighting techniques and drills to continue and further develop the understanding of fighting and sparring. Basic submission wrestling with positions and rolling to get a basic understanding of the ground. All in a well structured state of the art course.
Includes: Written material and syllabus for a full intermediate level semester.
Equipment: Boxing gloves, shin-protection, cup and mouthpiece.
Requirements: At least three years of training in martial arts and preferably taken the course Self-defence I.
Certificate: Will be awarded to all attendants that can show proficiency in all course moments.
Hours: 12 hours of training, divided into four 3-hours classes.
